This is Bruette.net – Created by me, Louis Bruette. I am grateful you’re here; I hope you find something that brings you back for more.
Faith and gratitude serve as my guiding principles. I strive to honor my family and share their legacy, while seeking joy in my daily life.
Here you will find factual articles and personal stories about the things I love and enjoy. What you won’t find here is politics, this is my sanctuary.
My interests are simple; Family, Lionel, Christmas trains and others, MLB, the NFL, and anything else that sparks my curiosity.
Even those old Topps trading cards from the 1960s and ’70s have a place here. I may even discuss the games I enjoy.
I focus on the positive aspects of life without ignoring the negative. Every day is a good day; some are simply better than others.
As the neighbor who raised me, Irene Timmerman, Nanny to me, often said to me, “Count your blessings, not your problems.”
John Timmerman, Jack to me, and Nanny were one of the many examples of how the Grace of God has been shared with me throughout my life.
Being born with a hard-working mother who instilled here work ethic in me was the first time God shared his Grace with me.
Having been born with two wonderful sisters. A godmother who shared her love, family and faith. Were further examples of the endless Grace of God.
My beautiful Angel, my wife, literally saved me from myself was truly a gift from God. I loved her from the moment I saw her and I love her more every day.
My children and grandchildren are further examples of the Grace of God.
The beauty and wonder of the Grace of God is you don’t have to deserve it. It is a gift freely given if your heart is open to accept it.
These are my thoughts, stories, and reflections from my corner of the world.
I will explore the things that I enjoy. The hobbies that shaped me, and the lifelong interests that continue to inspire and comfort me.
Along the way, I share my memories, adventures, misadventures, The experiences that have shaped my life and made it meaningful.
Everything here is written with honesty and gratitude. I hope you find something that speaks to you, sparks your interest, and adds a little joy to your day.
